Peter and Donna Bogdanov have run their creative studios since 1993. Peter’s portfolio has become one that showcases body pieces, which accentuate the human form creating a living work of art. In addition to our in-house artists, we are delighted to say that we have several artists from around the United States coming to guest spot throughout the year.
The Truth is all about just that, the truth. We believe that every person is an individual and as such so should each and every tattoo that we design. This is why you won't see Tattoo Flash all over our walls. You will see custom art work around every corner. You will know first hand when you visit The Truth that these artists know how to get down. Body Piercing & ModificationHere at The Truth we are bringing Pacifica an upscale piercing studio operated by an exceptional piercing artist and world-class inventory. Our goal as a body-piercing studio is to first serve our local friends and family by performing our craft in a professional and sterile environment.
Jeremy/Jonz is our body piercing artist and has been in the industry for over five years. He strives to keep himself as knowledgeable as possible in this ever evolving industry, while maintaining a calming professionalism that few clients can deny. He’s taken many strides to ensure the best experience for every client. After a short apprenticeship, he attended the Basic Piercing Workshop at the Fakir Intensives in San Francisco, CA; the longest running and highest acclaimed piercer course training in the nation. He then took the Basic branding course through the Intensives, as well as course training under Steve Haworth; another highly acclaimed artist within the industry. After a short stay in the northwest, he returned to the Fakir Intensives to complete the Advanced Piercing seminar (of which less than 100 people world-wide have participated in). He’s also attended the APP (Association of Profession Piercers) Conference these past two years, taking a number of different industry-related classers, as another means to further his education.
Our piercer also cares just as much for his client’s well-being/safety as well, which is why all of our initial piercing jewelry is made from only the finest materials available. Implant grade steel and titanium, which are bio-compatible and ensure your piercing will heal perfectly with no adversity from the jewelry. Graphics & Web ServicesMy name is Peter Bogdanov (peterbogdanov.com) and I have been tattooing for over 18 years. In that same time period I began a web design and commercial graphics career with clients such as the NBA, NBC, Hyatt, Pepsi, US Marines, Verizon, USPS, PG&E, The Black Crows and many, many more. I eat, sleep and breath design. The graphics and web services here at The Truth are run by myself as an off shoot of intellect2.com.
My web design studio is known as intellect2 (www.intellect2.com) - intelligence times itself. I empower my clients to make statements on the web. My goal is to compete with the best and to share that drive and passion with like minded people. The Truth is a great place to get this world class level of quality at a small business price tag. Our LeadershipThe Truth is owned and operated by Donna and Peter Bogdanov. This dynamic pair has roots in Pacifica going back to early child hood, through middle school and even seeing the birth of their son while living in beautiful Vallymar in 1996. "We had a chance to purchase a home and start our next art business anywhere in the world and we chose Pacifica as our heavon on earth," Peter says. The two always seem to be drawn back to this wonderful place. As home and business owners in Pedro Point, Donna and Peter plan to cultivate community wide involement through art, music and this thing we call The Truth.
The Truth is not your typical tattoo studio. To judge us as the book most easily seen would be a mistake. We are a studio rooted in family values while living passionate lives. We believe businesses have a responsibility to give back to the communities they reside in. We take our combined talents and share them with the community through, apprenticeships, art classes, gallery openings and community events. In this way we are leading our community to be more culturally rich.

Peter Bogdanov
Peter Bogdanov is the shop founder and has been tattooing for 19 years. At this stage in my career I look for clients that wish to work towards the very best a tattoo can be. It does not matter if it is small or large, the one defining element is the best only every time. I have been winning awards in custom tattoo work for over 17 years. My tattoo awards include, Best Tribal, Best Female Color, Best Large Piece, Most Unique and Best Back Piece. I have been published in Tattoo Savage & Ink Junkie Magazine and have had the pleasure of tattooing at many a tattoo convention. At this point in my tattoo career I am about designing bodies. Yes I love to go large, but designing bodies is about the right size as well. Lately I have been doing some serious full scale work but also concentrating on sexy designs for women.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to tattoo at The Truth with him and his crew for his grand opening this last New Years and enjoyed myself greatly. The energy was awesome as always, people and artist were welcoming here and the location was prime and matched the vibe of the shop very well.
